Roti (Indian Bread)


Ingredients:

  • 1 kg plain flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • Hot water (Enough to make a firm dough)
  • 1 teaspoon oil

Roti (Indian Bread)


Method:

1. Put flour in a mixing bowl.

2. Add salt.

3. Pour in enough hot water to make a firm dough and mix.

4. Knead the dough with oil.

5. Cut dough into little pieces and roll into small balls
(about half the size of a tennis ball).

6. Use a rolling pin to roll the balls out flat.

7. Cook both sides for about 1-2 minutes on hot-plate.
